The third and final lunch time lecture for this Spring was given by Mostyn Roberts on March 18 looking at the founder of Rhode Island in the USA, Roger Williams 1603-1683.

Readers will be pleased to know that we will be reopening the Library at the usual times six days a week from this Wednesday December 2, 2020). We will then be open until we close for Christmas and the New Year. Do come along if you can.
DetailsLibrary opening during the present crisis
In response to the present situation with Coronavirus the Library will be open for just three days a week – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday – until further notice. We advise you to telephone or e mail to check we are open before travelling. We hope that this does not cause too much inconvenience.
Library now open Saturdays
Users of the Library will be pleased to know that from this week the Library will be open on Saturdays, as in the past. We are very thankful to the volunteers who make this possible.
Library Closed
The Library is currently closed and will not reopen until December 2 at the earliest. This is in line with current government legislation.

Latest Lunchtime Lecture
The latest lunchtime lecture was on “Richard Bernard and his book on conscience” and was given by Gary Brady. Due to limited publicity and the snowy weather turn out was not great.
