DetailsThe third and final lunch time lecture for this Spring was given by Mostyn Roberts on March 18 looking at the founder of Rhode Island in the USA, Roger Williams 1603-1683.
DetailsReaders will be pleased to know that we will be reopening the Library at the usual times six days a week from this Wednesday December 2, 2020). We will then be open until we close for Christmas and the New Year. Do come along if you can.
DetailsIn response to the present situation with Coronavirus the Library will be open for just three days a week – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday – until further notice. We advise you to telephone or e mail to check we are open before travelling. We hope that this does not cause too much inconvenience.
Users of the Library will be pleased to know that from this week the Library will be open on Saturdays, as in the past. We are very thankful to the volunteers who make this possible.
The Library will not be open Saturday February 1, 2024, due to a problem with staffing. Our apologies.. Open again Monday, February 3.
The Library is currently closed and will not reopen until December 2 at the earliest. This is in line with current government legislation.

DetailsThe latest issue of the Library magazine is now available. It is automatically sent to members and can be purchased from the Library for £1.50. This issue contains articles on Richard Baxter and John Owen.
