On Monday 5 June at 6.30 pm the speaker at our annual meeting will be J Philip Arthur from Lancaster. In this five hundredth anniversary of the event he will be speaking on 1517: Luther and the Reformation. Phil is an excellent historian with an ability to make his subjects interesting and we are looking forward to this upcoming visit to London.

The third and last of the Spring lunch time lectures has recently taken place. We are hoping to have a transcript of that paper on Anne Steele here soon. Do look out for the double issue of In Writing which should be with you shortly. It features the papers given at last year’s conference on reading John Owen in written form.
