Special Study Day on 1662
Bookings are coming in slowly for our special study day on March 27 on "1662 and nonconformity". Do join us at the Library on that day if you can.
In this anniversary year of the Great Ejection of 1662 a special conference has been organised at the Evangelical Library to look at the subject. The conference will begin at 10 am and end at 4 pm. Dr Garry Williams of the John Owen Centre will speak on “1662 and its aftermath” Gary Brady, the Library chairman will speak on “1662 and the men who were ejected” and after lunch (not provided though there will be hot drinks) Dr Robert Oliver will speak on “1689 and the toleration of dissent”. There will also be a panel discussion to round off the day. The conference is open to all who are sympathetic. The cost is £25 (£30 on the day). Send a cheque with your details to the Library.
